Submitals
The management of project submittals is one of those project management tasks that is easy to dislike.  IPM’s integration with Outlook and its use of customisable workflows to facilitate follow-ups allows this chore to become a simple exercise.

Drawings
Most projects have some degree of design documentation associated with them.  The question usually is, how to store this information so that it is available to all those who need it.  IPM’s drawing log facilitates the storing of these documents in an organised fashion.  It also allows tracking of revisions of these documents and the tracing of all those that have received them.

RFQ
Requests for Quote can be one of the most important parts of a tender process and needs to be executed quickly and efficiently to ensure Tender time frames are met.  IPM’s RFQ process allows requests for quote to be efficiently generated from initial budget detail and then just as efficiently converted into Subcontracts and Purchase Orders.

RFI
RFI’s are one of the most commonly used tools in Project Management. They are used to document formally an exchange of information about a project, however in IPM an RFI not only records the exchange of information, IPM’s integration with Outlook facilitates this exchange as part of the process thereby making the adoption of IPM as a central management tool compelling.

Site Instructions
Site Instructions are designed to provide a more formal communication than a phone.  These instructions are easily created in IPM and deliver a level of certainty around a communication not possible with a phone call or a text message.

Meeting Minutes
Most people dislike being the minute taker but not as much as they dislike preparing the minutes and following them up.  IPM’s meeting minute component allows a sensible approach to the documentation of meetings and with the use of customisable workflows the outstanding items are automatically followed up.
